This role is suited for early to mid-career researchers with demonstrated expertise in health systems research methods and a growing track record of academic output. The incumbent will work closely with Centre leadership, faculty, and external partners to design and execute research projects, develop funding proposals, and translate research findings into policy-relevant outputs.

Position Summary:

The Assistant Professor (Research) will strengthen CHSDM’s research portfolio through independent research leadership, grant development, and capacity-building initiatives. This role is suited for an enthusiastic and self-motivated researcher with expertise in health systems research and a career focus on health policy, health systems strengthening, or healthcare management. The incumbent will lead research projects on Centre priorities, develop competitive grant applications, design capacity-building programmes, and enhance the Centre’s standing in the health systems field through publications and strategic partnerships.
